Sensation 2009
Thursday, 3rd September 2009
Words: Bal En Blanc
Only two days now until the 3rd edition of Sensation Montreal, taking place this Saturday (September 5) at the Pepsi Forum. Over 6,000 people are expected for the event, where two of the world's most famous DJs will be doing sets. Anointed DJ No. 1 on the specialty lists that are the references in the field, Holland's Armin Van Buuren is a favorite of Montreal crowds, and each of his visits is celebrated with special enthusiasm by his thousands of admirers.
The coming of David Guetta is also a very special event, the French DJ and producer having just released his new album, One Love, which includes collaborations with names like will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Akon, Kelly Rowland (colleague of Beyoncé in Destiny's Child) and several others. The first excerpt from the album, "When Love takes Over" feat Kelly Rowland, is ruling the radio charts here and elsewhere. Not to mention that the album One Love is No. 1 in sales in France and No.2 in the United Kingdom. Released on August 25, it is also No. 1 in sales on iTunes in Canada. What's more, it was David Guetta who produced the international hit par excellence of summer 2009, "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Just a few good reasons not to miss his visit to Sensation Montreal, this Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 in the morning.
DJs Glenn Morrison (Toronto), Danny Torrence (Montreal) and Uppercut (Montreal) round out the lineup for this biggest Labor Day weekend party.
A word to procrastinators, tickets are still available for the 3rd edition of Sensation Montreal. On sale over the Web at wantickets.com/sensation and in person at various specialty points of sale.
Sensation Montreal is a presentation of Montreal's White Party Week, Produkt and BPM Conference.
