The 17th edition of Montreal's White Party Week is approaching quickly, and what could be better than a tailor-made soundtrack to gradually get in the mood for the event. The official White Is Pure 10 CD is the ideal way to fill the gap between now and Easter weekend. For this tenth release in the White Is Pure series, Montreal DJ Etienne Ozborne has put together 15 of the most exciting cuts on the club scene, with a power boost supplied by a resourceful and energizing mix. Rarely has a compilation succeeded in so faithfully re-creating the atmosphere of Bal en Blanc's enormous 15-hour party. Vocal house, dazzling surges, electro and progressive sounds – Ozborne beautifully balances the tension to keep the senses on full alert during 75 minutes of mix produced with remarkable flair. The perfect preparation for Bal en Blanc, which this year is taking place on Sunday, April 24, at Palais des congrès in Montreal.
A high energy concentrate of rhythm
The intensity level is at a maximum the entire length of this sonic journey, which is packed with powerful tracks designed to set the dancefloor on fire. The original mix of "Something Going On" by Prok & Fitch vs. Todd Terry, "Live Your Life" by Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick feat. Shawnee Taylor, the classic "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" reprised by Steven Lee & Granite and remixed by Ozborne, "Alright 2010" by Red Carpet feat. Hardwell, "Conscindo" by Mark Knight & Wolfgang Gartner and Daddy's Groove Magic Island Rework from the immense "Diamond Life" by Louie Vega & Jay "Sinister" Sealee feat. Julie McKnight are just a few examples of the dancefloor bombs on this disc. Etienne Ozborne's talents as a producer are also showcased via five original productions and remixes, including "Change the World" done with Peter Brown in collaboration with Max'C and "I Really Want to Say," co-produced with Zoltan Kontes and featuring the voice of singer Polina Griffith.
