Bal En Blanc 2012: Presale begins

With the year 2012 well under way it's time to be thinking about making plans for our spring get-together par excellence. That's the 18th edition of Montreal's White Party Week, of course, which is scheduled for the Easter period, from Thursday, April 5 to Monday, April 9. As is customary, Bal en Blanc itself will be taking place on Sunday the 8th (from 9 p.m. to noon) at Palais des congrès, where some 15 of the finest DJs on the planet will once again be performing in two separate spaces devoted to House and Trance music respectively.
Presale starts on Saturday the 14th
The time is now for reserving a place, with the first 1,000 tickets available on presale beginning Saturday, January 14 at noon at a reduced price of $95. That amount of $95 includes a $2 box-office fee and a $5 police fee, to which the usual service charges will be added. First come, first served: these early-bird tickets will be on sale exclusively on the Web at balenblanc.com by way of Venuedriver. Subsequent tickets will be offered at a price of $117 on the Web, at certain specialty sales points and from the usual promoters. Note that the ticket price will continue to increase as the date of the event grows closer.
Be a V.I.P.
VIP tickets will go on sale on the same occasion at a price of $42 (taxes and box-office fee included + service charge). A reminder that the VIP ticket is additional to the regular ticket and must be combined with that ticket for admission to Bal en Blanc. VIP tickets provide access to a VIP checkroom, to a VIP section with fruit and snacks and to toilets reserved for VIPs, in addition to giving the holder the right to priority admission.
Big names in the offing
The DJ and artist programming for the 18th Bal en Blanc will be announced gradually over the coming weeks. As is always the case, the roughly 15,000 people expected will have the opportunity to kick up their heels to the sound of an explosive lineup of DJs who rank with the biggest international headliners in electronic dance music. Bal en Blanc is coming of age, and it's time to celebrate!
