Hold on to that tuque – Igloofest is going to hit like a blizzard! This year, Igloofest 2009 is going to take the Jacques-Cartier Pier by storm with 6 fun-filled, rocking evenings January 16-17, 23-24, and 30-31, from 6pm to midnight! Co-producers Piknic Électronik and the Quays of the Old Port invite you into the igloo kingdom to enjoy the wildest few days of the winter!!!

This year, Igloofest’s 3rd edition will welcome a major new partner. Musique Plus will play with sound and images via short clips, interviews, and live broadcasts from the Quays of the Old Port as they follow the crowd throughout the outdoor festivities.

Admission is $5 before 7:30pm and $10 after. Starting today, the event’s website (www.igloofest.ca) will be offering five hundred (500) passes for $40 each (+ service fees). Avoid lines and get unlimited access to all Igloofest events with this new photo ID pass!
Festival-goers can discover the charms of the Old Port and take advantage of other activities at the Quays – the skating rink, the IMAX®TELUS and the Montréal Science Centre.
