This summer GlobalGathering has undergone a complete makeover, with brand new artwork, new arena hosts and one of the most fresh and dynamic electronic line-ups to date. After months of preparations they are really excited to announce the first of the major on site changes at the festival this summer, the brand new main stage and second stage.
Bringing the colours and cubes from the new artwork concept to life, the new main stage will feature:
- 4 tonnes of metalwork
- 200 individual GlobalGathering cubes
- A network of LED lights
- Brand new special effects and pyrotechnics
- International festival circuit production
GlobalGathering are excited to be collaborating with creative production company, 250K this summer who have produced some of the most inventive and outlandish audio visual staging, production and effects on events around the world, including the Armin Only World Tour, Extrema Outdoor, A State Of Trance and Lowlands.
Sander Reneman of 250K commented: "We are excited to collaborate with the GlobalGathering team for this year's festival. GlobalGathering is one of the world's leading festivals. Last autumn we started with the first plans. Since then we have designed and worked out two stages. The stages will meet the fresh new style of GlobalGathering this summer and will hopefully contribute to what will no doubt be a memorable experience."
Bringing inspiration from the international festival circuit featuring mindblowing graphics and effects, this will be the unique festival experience of the summer and the most exciting production ever seen at GlobalGathering. Stay tuned for more onsite changes and announcements.

The second staging area also features two dancefloor platforms either side of the DJ booth, bringing you closer to your favourite artists and providing an extra space to dance the night away.
The second stage is will be opened by Toolroom Knights on Friday, with Union seeing the festival out on the Saturday and is just one of the exciting new additions onsite at GlobalGathering this summer. Keep up to date on the website for news on all the 2011 production announcements.
